7/29/06

On Thursday, the final episode of Pokemon Advanced Challenge, titled "Judgment Day" aired. Yesterday, "Clamperl of Wisdom", the first episode of Pokemon Advanced Battle aired. Now that the airing of Pokemon's eighth season is underway, the airing of Pokemon Battle Frontier is close. Whether CN will go on to air Season 9 every weekday or air it on weekends at some point is unknown.

At Comic-Con a week ago, it was revealed that the dubbing of Pokemon Battle Frontier had already begun, with five episodes dubbed and plans to dub one more each week. This will mean that so far, six episodes of the newest season have been dubbed. A couple voice actors have changed since 'The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon' and these are the ones that have and will continue to dub Season 9. 'The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon' was re-dubbed with this slightly different voice cast, and the re-dubbed version will be included as a bonus on the 'Lucario and the Mystery of Mew' DVD this fall.

No updates lately, I know. I am currently working on something that will fix this problem.

Today I updated the Advanced Battle page with the name of the final episode of Advanced Battle. It is titled "Pasta La Vista". On Wednesday, July 26, Cartoon Network will air "Judgment Day", the last episode of Advanced Challenge. Whether or not it will start airing Advanced Battle, go through Advanced Challenge again, or switch to airing a different show in its place is unknown. The ninth season, Battle Frontier, will air on CN in the Fall. The episode lists for Chronicles, movies, shorts, and banned episodes should come soon, but that's all for today.

I've been doing updates to the site's HTML as we are way behind. Hicky and DragoniteAdy have given me loads of stuff I haven't been able to put up yet and when I get the time, I will add them as well as episode guides of my own that I created ages ago. Today, we have Hicky's strategy analysis for Charizard.

Hicky is making us strategy analysises/usage guides for all of the Pokemon to be used in your games. They are very handy and today I put the first one up, for Venusaur. Tomorrow I hope to put up Charizard along with the next 13 episode guides for Season 1.

I created pages for all of the Season 1 episodes today, although they only say the name and date the episode was first aired. I did add summaries for the first 13 today and will add more summaries and recaps as the month progresses. I will most likely not update tomorrow because I am going to a relative's for Father's Day, but over the next couple weeks I plan to add sections to the R/S/E and FR/LG walkthroughs as well as the work on the anime.

The name of Pokemon's ninth season has been revealed. It will be titled "Battle Frontier". It will contain 52 episodes and begins after the Battle Frontier has just started, Ash having won his first Symbol and May her first Ribbon. It will have different voice actors than Seasons 1-8, being created by Taj Studios instead of 4Kids. As well, instead of airing on Kids WB like it has previously, it will air on Cartoon Network starting this Fall.

I have created a page for the upcoming game Pokemon Battle Revolution. Tomorrow I will work on guides of the movies and episodes of the anime if all goes well. Also DragoniteAdy has created three more guides, two for Emerald and one for FireRed and LeafGreen that I hope to add tomorrow.

In other news, I have created a page for an electronic PokeDex game that I have discovered and my younger brother got it for his birthday. I will attempt to get one myself and add more information on it over the month.
