Released: March 17, 2003 (Ruby/Sapphire), May 1, 2005 (Emerald)

This walkthrough was created by colossom as a Ruby walkthrough. However, I was the one who edited it so that it would contain all changes for Sapphire and Emerald. I also added in a couple minor details from time to time. I was also the one who created the guide of other things to do.

---Intro---
This is a guide about Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Versions. My guide is to help other people.

Ah! This is what you all been waiting for! Let's go!

---Littleroot to Rival and Back---
You start off in a truck, after a while it stops, go right. You be talking to your Mom and you be in your new home. You find two Machokes lifting your furniture, go up stairs and set the clock to any time you want it to be. Your Mom will tell you something again. Go next door and introduce you to May/Brendan. Go out to Route 101 and you find Prof. Birch. He is being chased by an idiotic Poochyena, Go to his bag and you see 3 PokeBalls. They are Torchic in the middle, Mudkip at the right and Treecko at the left. Mudkip proves to be the best starter in the game and very powerful at the Elite 4.Torchic is recommend as it is difficult in the beginning but very strong later on.Treecko is easy to train but is weaker a bit later on, it has high-speed(WOW!).Pick 1 and start off with a level 2 Poochyena which is like a shrimp to you. Kill it and you return to the Professors lab. He`ll give you the pokemon you chose just then Go out and you start to Route 101. Wild Pokemon: Poochyena, Wurmple, Zigzagoon(CHEY!)
You should be able to reach Oldale Town in no problem at all. Go to your PC which is the computer on the right side of Pokemon Center. However, there are no Pokemon Centers in Littleroot Town. However, your mother can heal you and you have a PC upstairs in your room. Get a potion there. It's free of charge. Go up and find Route 103 instead of Route 102.
Wild Pokemon: Poochyena, Zigzagoon, Wurmple, Wingull, Surskit(unavailable in Emerald)
Your rival is there and prepare to beat up a innocent girl.MuHaHaHa,evil laugh. Kill her with your only Pokemon. You must be level 6 or above to easily win this girl.(Only if you chose Brendan, you can beat his Pokemon to death.) Keep using Offensive moves no matter what. After you beat her, go back home.

---A Rocky Fight!---
Go to Prof. Birch's lab and after you got the 5 PokeBalls, go to Oldale Town but your  mom stops you and gives you running shoes. You also might want to catch some Pokemon with you new PokeBalls. Go to Oldale Town. Go and heal if you wish, then go left of the town and straight towards Petalburg City. On the way you notice a strange tree on a soil, that is the berry, there are many berries in the world but I don't tell you what they are for now. Go to the gym in Petalburg City. You'ed be smoked if your pokemon are not at level 30+. (Pressure High, Huh?) But this isn't your fight yet and you meet your dad inside. Suprise, Surprise, your father is gym leader. Talk to him and your second rival will walk in. His name is Wally, (Not Wallace!) and you follow him. He catchs a Ralts and goes happily on his way to the gym. After that he leaves, you better leave too. Go to the left side of the city and fight your way through Petalburg Woods. Go all the way till you find a man ask you where to get Shroomish and oh yes, I haven't told you what Pokemon are here.
Wild Pokemon: Shroomish, Wurmple, Silcoon, Cascoon, Taillow, Zigzagoon
A grunt from Team Magma(Ruby) or Team Aqua(Sapphire/Emerald) will try to rob the man of Devon Paper. Beat his Poochyena and go ahead to Route 104.Advance to Rustboro City. Go ahead to the gym. Beat the 2 Hao Lian Gym Trainers and fight Roxanne.

Roxanne'sPokemon: Geodude Lvl 14,Noseparse Lvl 15

Tips:It can be a hard fight if you used 1 starter pokemon to fight and without being evolve.Even Treecko and Mudkip can lose too,not to mention Torchic. So evolve it to Combusken to get rid of it's weakness.Beat it with Double Kick.

---Towards the Dark Cave---
Go out and you find the coward you saved earlier in the woods chasing another Magma(Ruby) or Aqua(Sapphire/Emerald) Grunt. Try to go out to the left and find a tunnel. Enter it.

Wild Pokemon: Whismur
Go to where you see the Grunt is and beat his Poochyena 1 more time. Go to the Devon Corp. After you've received Devons Goods and Letter for Steven. Go back to Petalburg and go to the left. You should be able to find a cottage. Go in and talk to the old man whose Wingull you saved just now. He sails you to Dewford Town. Go and heal and if you like, take on the gym 1st but I reccommend going to the Granite Cave to train.

Granite Caves's Wild Pokemon: Mawile(Ruby/Emerald), Sableye (Sapphire/Emerald), Zubat, Makuhita, Aron, Abra

Now, Get the Flash HM from the hiker near your entrance. Go to the left ladder. You'll be in a darkness unless you teach Flash to one of your Pokemon. Keep going up and left, up, left, up and you see a muddy waterfall. You, need a MACH BIKE to go up it! So go down and left. Keep going and down. And left into the ladder. Go up and left and you find two detour. Go on to the left 1.down,left, down ,left and left .go up and down left. Now keep going left and you spy a ladder. Enter. Go to the left of your starting place and its full of light. This is straight forward and you should find Steven here with ease. Talk to him and he gives you the TM Steel Wing.Go out and jump to the fence and leave.

---2nd Gym---

Go to the gym. MY! This is as dark as the dark caves! Make your way to the gym leader and fight the trainers to gain brightness.

Brawly's Pokemon: Machop Lvl 17, Makuhita Lvl 18

Tips:You must have two Pokemon that is not fear fighting types to beat him.He starts off with Machop and starts off with Focus Energy most of the time. Then Karate Chop you to death. Get a Ralts or Kirlia and cream him with confusion. Next, Makuhita. He should be more easier than Machop even though the level is higher. cream him again and after blasting Brawly into the dark deep of cave, you earn your badge. Leave and talk to Mr Briney to get to Slateport City or Slakoth City.

---BZZT!---

Talk to the guy inside the harbour launcher. He`ll tell you Capt.Stern is off to somewhere. He is actually in the museum. Enter it. You`ll find a Magma(Ruby) or Aqua (Sapphire/Emerald) grunt begging you for forgiveness. He gives you the TM Thief. Go up the stairs and talk to Stern. Beat the grunts and Maxie(Ruby) or Archie (Sapphire/Emerald) will come. He talks and leaves.Go up to the Slateport Opening at the upper side. Keep going till you reach your rival. Beat him/her. Go all the way towards Mauville City. Fight your another rival at the door of the gym with ease. Heal and enter the gym. You should be able to fight the leader.

Watson's Pokemon : Magnemite Lvl 21, Voltorb Lvl 20, Magneton Lvl 23

Tips: He's like a shrimp if you have a fighting pokemon. He can be hard if you not on your guard. Magnemite should be no problem at all. Voltorb the same. The main threat here is Magneton. He uses shockwave which is way too strong. Beat him with fire moves or fight moves to kill him to death.

---A Hot Magma Fight(aka A Cold Aqua Fight)---

Go to the left of Mauville and or yes, get the Rock Smash HM from 1 of the house in Mauville. Keep going and you made it. Open up Rusturf Tunnel in Verdanturf Town, and then go back to Mauville City. Go up and beat the Hao Lian Bo Lao Lian Winstrate family if you want to. Go up and all the way to Fiery Path and go through there. Head towards Fallarbor Town and go to left and down and into Meteor Falls. In it you should be able to find Team Magma, Team Aqua and Prof.Cosmo. Team Magma(Ruby/Emerald) or Team Aqua(Sapphire) has stolen Prof. Cosmo's Meteorite. In Ruby, Team Aqua will tell you that they work to stop Team Magma, and they need you to help them. In Sapphire, Team Magma will tell you that they work to stop Team Aqua, and they need you to help them. In Emerald, Team Aqua will start talking to you about Team Magma and then recognize you as the person who kicked their butts before. Now head towards Fiery Path and you will see a cable station. Go up towards Mt. Chimney by it. Fight the grunt, admin and leader.

Maxie's Pokemon(Ruby/Emerald): Mightyena Lvl 21, Golbat Lvl 23, Camerupt Lvl 25

Archie's Pokemon(Sapphire): Mightyena Lvl 21, Golbat Lvl 23, Sharpedo Lvl 25

Tips : The main threat here is Camerupt. Beat him with all your pokemon. They must be Lvl 23 and above to beat Camerupt with ease. Pelliper will be your best bet here. Keep using Water Gun to finish him. For Archie, Grovyle or Manectric will have the best chance at Sharpedo, who is his most powerful Pokemon. Try not to use normal-type moves for this battle.

---Parseionate Flames---

Go down to Jagged Pass from the cable station down there.

Jagged Pass Wild Pokemon: Numel, Spoink, Zigzagoon, Poochyena

Keep going down and to the left. Enter the gym. Go through here and reach Flannery.

Flannery's Pokemon: Slugma x2 Lvl 24,Torkoal Lvl 28

Tips: She is easy, just use a water type and you will be done in a minute.

---Back Home---

Go to Rusturf Tunnel from Verdanturf Town and then down to Petalburg. Remember what Dad said? You go to the back of the gym and beat all the trainers on the way to toughen your pokemon.

Dad'sPokemon: Slaking x2 Lvl 30/32,Vigoroth Lvl 29

Tips: This is an easy fight if you have a Hariyama or Blaziken. The main threat here is the 2 Slakings. Don't let your guard down though. Their special ability makes 'em move every 2 turns. AND DON'T EVER EVER BURN,PARALYZED or POISON THEM! thier powerful attack FACADE will double in power if they have a status I mentioned!

---Long Trek to Go---
Go towards Mauville City from Rusturf Tunnel and go to the right and surf and keep going up to the Weather Institute. Save everyone from there by defeating the Magma(Ruby) or Aqua(Sapphire/Emerald) admin there. You can also heal by the bed beside the PC. You receive Castform if you have a spare slot in your party. In Emerald, a Team Aqua member will come in and warn the others that Team Magma is at Mt. Pyre and they're trying to steal the Orbs before they do. (This also lets you know that they are both heading to Mt. Pyre to steal the Orbs.) Go to the left and up but your Rival Stops you!

Rival's pokemon: three of these: Grovyle/Marshtomp/Combusken/Wailmer/Shroomish/Numel (I won't list the level because this fight is no problem to you at all.)

After beating her, continue on your way to Fortree City.

---Galloping Sky Legend---
Heal and go out to a bridge where you meet your friend, Steven! He shows you how Devon Scope works. Then a level 30 Kecleon appears and fights you.Catch it if you like and go back to Fortree City and enter the gym. You find a lot of doors which is switchable there. Simply walk through the first one. Walk through the second from the left, then walk through it from the top. For the third one, walk through the left side from the bottom. Then walk through the right side from the top. Walk through the left one from the left
side, then from the top. Circle to the right side, then enter that from the right. For the fourth one, enter the bottom one from the left. Enter the right one from the left. Enter the right one from the top. Go around and enter the left one from the top. Circle around and enter the bottom one from the bottom. Enter the right one from the left.

Winonoa's Pokemon: Pelliper Lvl 30,Swellow Lvl 31,Skamory Lvl 31,Altaria Lvl 33

Tips: The only real threat here is Altaria. Being part Dragon, it resists many elemental types. Being part Flying to gain one more resistance (immunity, actually) doesn't help either. Watch out for Altaria's Dragon Dance. It raises Speed and Attack, allowing Altaria to make powerful strikes while guaranteeing it the first one. Also, be sure not to forget that Altaria knows Earthquake! Blasting Winona out of the sky gets you the Feather Badge, the ability to use Fly out of battle, and TM40, Aerial Ace. This move is a Flying version of Swift. It will never miss as long as the foe is on-screen.

---Rain, Rain, Go Awat, Children Want to Play---

Go to where you find Steven and the Devon Scope and you should be able to go all the way to Lilycove City. You can go there to heal your Pokemon from all that battling, but when you're done, head back to Route 121 and surf down. On Route 122, go down and into Mt. Pyre.

---Mt. Pyre---

Go to the left and all the way towards the Team Magma(Ruby) or Team Aqua(Sapphire/Emerald) members there, and beat them. When you are done, the leader of the team you battled will tell you they've stolen the Blue(Ruby) or Red(Sapphire/Emerald) Orb. Walk up to an old lady who will give you the Red Orb(Ruby), Blue Orb(Sapphire), or Magma Emblem(Emerald). Fly to Slateport City(Ruby/Sapphire) or Mt. Chimney(Emerald).

---Team Magma Hideout---

First of all, if you're playing Ruby or Sapphire, skip to the next section. Now Emerald players, ride the Cable Car up to Mt. Chimney. Head down it. When you're on Jagged Pass, the Magma Emblem will at some point make an opening in the ground leading to the Team Magma hideout. Battle all the grunts. Eventually you will get to Maxie. Battle him and defeat them. He awakens Groudon, but Groudon will not listen to him and runs off. Now fly to Slateport City.

---Team Aqua or Magma Hideout---

Talk to the Capt. Stern. Then , Team Aqua grunts will steal the ship! Fly to Lilycove city and find the Magma(Ruby) or Team Aqua(Sapphire/Emerald) Hideout on the cove. Go in. Re-heal if needed, then head to the beach on the right side. Surf straight up into the cave. You can find Trainer stats at the bottom of this particular section. Head up, and fight the grunt. Own him, and go right and up through a door.
Step on the right teleporter, and get the Max Elixir. Return, and step on the orther teleporter. Go right, around the fence ( fight if you have to), and left into another teleporter. Enter the left teleporter. Go left into another teleporter. Do it a third time. This time, go around the middle teleporter and into the far left one.

You will see four Poke Balls.

1 = Master Ball 2 = Lv.30 Electrode
3 = Nugget 4 = Lv.30 Electrode

Head back into the teleporter, and take the middle teleporter. Go right into another teleporter, and go up into a third teleporter. Go to the far right into another teleporter. Enter the door. Go down into a teleporter to get a Nest Ball. Return, and go right to find another teleporter. Step on it. Go up the stairs. Fight, then circle right and go down the stairs. Fight if you want, then enter the teleporter. Fight the admin, then watch the sub leave. Enter the bottom teleporter. Head up the stairs, and go down out of the cave. Now surf to Mossdeep City.

---Mind Badge---

Go out of the base and surf right and all the way until you land in Moss Deep City. Your 1st objective is to find Steven. It's not hard at all, He is in the house nearest to the gym. Barge in and you receive your HM, Dive. Go out and enter the gym. You see those arrow direction-forcers you found in Giovanni's Gym in RBY. Spiffy. To end up at the end, do this:
Go up a little, and push the switch. Fight if you want.
Go down and ride the left arrow. Fight the trainer, then take the arrow pointing up. Fight the trainer, and pull the switch.
Take the down arrow, then go down and take the right arrow. Go down and ride the right arrow. Fight the trainer if you want, and pull the switch.
Ride the up arrow. Go down and ride the down arrow. If you want to fight all the Trainers, don't flip this switch, and continue as normal. Fight the Trainer if you want. When you want to progress, simply take this switch. Take the down arrow. Go down and ride the left arrow.

What do you know!A 2-2 gym Battle!Shout at them and you will fight.

Tate and Liza's pokemon:Lunatone/Solrock Lvl 42.

Tips:I suggest you taking out Solrock first. Why?It has high attack but low defensive+ it knows Sunny Day and Flamethrower. That's no good. As for Lunatone?it has nothing to worry about, as it has high defends and lousy attacks.

---Space Center---

This is another section you need to skip unless you're playing Emerald. Go down into the space center and battle a couple magma grunts. On the top floor, team up with Steven to battle and defeat the Team Magma Admin. The Team Magma members will then clear out of the space center. This is the last battle against Team Aqua.

 ---Seafloor Cavern---

For this next part, you will need Surf, Dive, Rock Smash, and Strength. Sharpedo can learn them. I know we hate Poochyena, Numel, and Sharpedo, but you have to bear with it a bit more. Exit the building and exit Mossdeep City. Surf south until you find a huge circle of shallow water. Dive at the south end of the circle and you'll be at the entrance. Enter, and resurface. Enter the cave.

Go around the left side and smash the rock, then move the boulders out of your way. Fight if you want. Go up the stairs, fight if you want, and down into the south door. Jump the ledge and fight. Now Enter the door to the north and use Strength. Push the boulder up, then go right and push that boulder. Exit the room, and re-enter. Push the boulder up. Go right and up and push that boulder up. Go left and push that boulder left. Smash the rock, then go up and push the boulder up. Go left and smash the rock. Push the boulder left and enter the door. From the entrance, Surf up, right, right, and then left. Leave the room. More puzzles! Push the boulder up 1 square. Go between the bottom two boulders. Push the left one left as far as it can go, and do the same with the right. Go between two more boulders and push the left one as far as it can go. The right one is already next to a wall. Go between two more boulders, but push the one above you upwards. Go up and push the boulder right, allowing you access to the next room...after a fight. One more puzzle. Push the two outside of the bottom three boulders up. Push the middle one to the side. Go up and push the boulder up ONE square. Push the two boulders to the side. Go on the left side and push the boulder up, then go tothe right and push that boulder up. Push the middle boulder to the side and enter the door.Once you enter, you notice it was misty. Go down and on the way,get your Earthquake TM! Now you see Groudon(Ruby) or Kyogre(Sapphire/Emerald) sleeping there. Maxie(Ruby) or Archie(Sapphire/Emerald) stops you, and fights you. This is the last battle against this team.

Maxie's Pokemon: Mightyena lvl 41, Crobat lvl 41,Camerupt lvl 43

Archie's Pokemon: Mightyena lv 41, Crobat, lv 41, Sharpedo lvl 43

Tips: You must have two Pokemon above lvl 41 to easily beat this fight. For me, this is very easy. I suggest you just use your most powerful pokemon for this battle and don`t worry about what moves you use.

After the battle, the Orb from Mt. Pyre that the person stole glows. Kyogre awakens and leaves. You are transported outside. Archie and Maxie are there. It is too sunny in Ruby, too rainy in Sapphire, and raining with thunder and lightning in Emerald. Steven comes and talks and leave. Go to Sootopolis City. From where you are, go back to Mossdeep City and the easiest way to reach Sootopolis is by diving onto a large stripe of water near Mossdeep, that circles a huge mountain. Dive underwater and when you find a place with a small "door" (still underwater), enter it and go back to the surface (Note: There are two large strips of water near Mossdeep, but one of them has no alga and seems like a large abyss. This one leads you to the Seafloor Cavern, and can only be taken a bit more to the south than the one we've been to.). Kyogre(Sapphire/Emerald) and/or Groudon(Ruby/Emerald) has/have created this havoc and it's up to you to stop them! Of the next three sections, read the one for your game.

---Kyogre---

---Kyogre---

Buy a lot of Ultra Balls at the PokeMart, then Wallace, Sootopolis City's gym leader, and Steven, escort you inside the Cave of Origin. There are five floors. Resting on the fifth and final floor is Kyogre. Walk up to him and your Red Orb will start to glow. Save here. Battle him, he is at lvl 45. If you lose or accidentally defeat him, turn off the game and start over. Use Ultra Balls and Timer Balls to catch it. Don't waste your Master Ball. When I battled him on Ruby, I just sent out my Bellossom, put it to sleep, weakened it, and started tossing Ultra Balls. Be sure to capture it.

---Rayquaza---

Talk to Wallace and he'll tell you to go to the Sky Pillar. Fly to Mossdeep city and then surf far south and then left and go to Pacifidlog Town. He'll meet you there. Go right a little and enter the Sky Pillar. Go to the top floor and awaken Rayquaza. Rayquaza will go down to Sootoplolis City and calm Kyogre and Groudon down. They'll run off to Marine Cave and Terra Cave and you'll be able to get them later. Rayquaza will run off to Sky Pillar, you'll be able to get him later too. Wallace and Steven will thank you.Now talk to Archie and Maxie and they admit they were wrong.

---Water Illusions---

Go in the gym and find an ice puzzle! I will tell you how to get through it.
Keys=
Left=L
Right=R
Up=U
Down=D
Puzzle 1:U,R,L,L,U,R
Puzzle 2:U,L,L,L,U,U,R,R,D,R,R,R,D,R,U,U,L,L,L
I suggest you dropping down from puzzle 3 to fight the trainers and toughen your pokemon.
Puzzle 3: U, R, R, U, R, R, D, r, u, u, u, l, d, l, u, l, d, d, l, l, d, l, u, l, d, l, u, l, u, u, r, d, r, u, r, d, r, u, r .
And you reach Wally! Erm..I mean Wallace. In Ruby and Sapphire anyway. In Emerals, we met Juan.

Wallace's Pokemon: Luvdisc lvl 40, Whiscash lvl 42, Sealeo lvl 40, Seaking lvl 42, Milotic lvl 43
Juan's Pokemon: Luvdisclvl 40, Whiscash lvl 41, Sealeo lvl 43, Crawdaunt lvl 43, Kingdra lvl 46

Tips: For me, I beat this guy with ease. He consists of water. So use a Grass or Electric pokemon to zap them. He starts with Luvdisc. Oh..I hate to say it but I must still say it too. It knows Attract and Sweet Kiss! Beat it with Lighting or weed it with grarse moves. Then comes Whiscash. He is so lousy to Grass pokemon but it has some kind of danger too. All those Electric happy-go-lucky pokemon could not zap it with lighting as it is Water/Ground type. Then, Seaking. This should be no problem at all. As a matter of fact, on Emerald, you don't even have to battle this critter. Now comes Sealeo. Careful, Grass Pokemon! It knows Blizzard and is super effective against grass. So,take it out quickly and you face the main threat of your final badge. Milotic is a strong pokemon which is high in stat, it's special ability Marvel Scale raises defense when it is paralyzed and so…It also knows recover! and IceBeam! Lucky, Lucky it does not know Hydro Pump. Fortunately, you do not have to battle this one on Emerald. Unfortunately, on Emerald, you are not finished - you must battle his two hardest Pokemon, Crawdaunt and Kingdra! After drowning Wallace(Ruby/Sapphire) or Juan(Emerald) into the deep abyss of the sea, you earn the final badge needed to be the champion!

---Path To Destiny---

Lets go to Ever Grande, shall we?
You're now ready to take the Pokemon League Challenge! Yes! First, make sure you have Pokemon that know the following HMs: Surf, Strength, Flash, Rock Smash, Waterfall, and Dive. If not, then you won't be able to reach the Pokemon League. Now head out to the open sea again and surf east for a LOOOOOOOONG time. Eventually, you'll enter Ever Grande City. There's a huge waterfall here, so use the move Waterfall to climb up it. Head forward to get onto land again. Heal at the Pokemon Center, then exit and climb the stairs to enter Victory Road.

---Victory Road---

When you get to the second floor, you'll have to use Flash. Push the boulder blocking your path to the side, or you won't be able to continue. You're going to have to push around lots of boulders on this
floor, as well as do Rock Smash on a few things. You'll eventually run
into water that you have to surf around it. Look for waterfalls in these
areas, since they can lead to different paths. When you don't need to use Flash anymore, save and continue. Try to get through the exit. Think you're safe? No! You have a final trainer battle to fight! You see someone familiar when you try to exit the cave. It's Wally! He talk to you rubbish a little and prove his worth to you!

Wally's pokemon: Altaria lvl 44,Magneton lvl 41,Roselia lvl 44, Delcatty lvl 43,Gardevoir lvl 45

After you beat him, exit the cave, heal and buy lots and Lots and LOts and LOTs and LOTS and LOTS of healing and reviving supplies.Yeah, the PokeMart seller will never give you a sponsor. After you ready, talk to the twins and they let you enter the league. When you enter, you climb some stairs.

---Sidney---

He is the master of darkness. Psychic won't work here. But even though all his pokemon are level 46-49, he is still like a poop to people who are slow trainers and all their pokemon only level 40-43. Sidney's Pokemon
Mightyena lvl 46 Shiftry lvl 48 Sharpedo lvl 48
Cacturne lvl 46 Absol lvl 49

Mightyena should be no problem to you but it is 1 of the expert stat lower. It use sand-attack in a rows. Shiftry uses Extransensory and tries to make you flinch. Cacturne? it will lower your speed with cotton spore and Needle Arm till you prick to death. Take care of it with fire or bird moves. Sharpedo is very strong. It has a very high attack and speed and it knows surf. oh dear, it has the rough skin ability and do 1/18 damage if your not using range attacks.. Of couse you don't want that right? Zap it with lightning or drain him with grarse moves. Absol is a strong pokemon but low defensive. You should be able to kill it in 1 hit.If not, its pressure ability destroy your PP usage! So make sure you kill it in 1 hit. After you beaten Sidney, its time for stairs climbing. After that you see a sexy little girl who loves ghosts. My ghosts haunted her!(J)She is proud and arrogant when you talk to her. Her name is Phoebe. She is much harder than our little friend Wally and she's also better than Sidney.

---Phoebe---
Phoebe's Pokemon

Dusclops lvl 48 Banette lvl 49 Sableye lvl 50
Banette lvl 49 Dusclops lvl 51

What a baller. Her ghosts can be tough as they are not like the original Gastly, Huanter, Gengar in the others version. They only fear Darks or Ghosts. Dusclops has the pressure ability, so take out both Dusclops in 1-hit if you can. Next, Sableye. Another things I hate is, Groundon, Ghosts pokemon, Pressure, it's Attract. Sableye fears nothing as it is Ghost/Dark pokemon (NO!!!!!!!!)I prefer taking it out with lousy moves as it is low defensive. Finally, the two Banettes. Banettes should be no problem at all. After you beat this hao lian bo lao lian girl, You climb a lot of stairs and up to the Ice Woman.

---Glacia---

She is proud but even more prouder than Phoebe .She is even more stronger than the final elite four.(of course not stronger than the champion)She says something about you lousy and you and her battle.
Glacia's Pokemon
Glalie lvl 50 Sealeo lvl 50 Sealeo lvl 52
Glalie lvl 50 Walrein lvl 53
If you are not on your guard, Glacia is the strongest among the elite four. Glalie uses Hail if it could and it damage you bits by bits. I`ve seen Glalie doing light screen once in my entire life. It will then freeze you with IceBeam to death. The two Sealeo uses Hail if Glalie hasn't. If not,It try to Blizzard you to death. The next Glalie shouldn't be a problem. Walrein is the hardest to kill. It has high defenses and high HP. Thats not all. It knows Sheer Cold. The newer addition of 1-hit KO attack. So you pray that when you try to struggle to nip away her marseive HP and fat away, Sheer Cold fails. If you are same level as it or beyond it, Sheer Cold will 100% fail. If it cannot use Sheer Cold, it blasts you with Blizzard and after the fight, go pray to the pokegods that it dosen`t know rest and snore. When you finished, prepare for a dragon fight.

---Drake---

Drake was a pirate and dragon master. I prefer taking him on with my dragons. Ya, he's not proud as the females elite four. He's the final elite four and after him is the champion.
Drake's Pokemon
Shelgon lvl 52 Flygon lvl 53 Flygon lvl 53
Altaria lvl 54 Salamence lvl 55

For this fight ,he starts off with Shelgon instead of the usual Salamence which he should evolve.Ice Beam will beat it has it is only Dragon type and once you kill it, it is smooth going. Next, the 2 Flygon bros. Take them out with Ice beam if you could. Blizzard will make it die a horrible death no matter what. Altaria should be taken out with just 1 Ice Beam. Salamence is very annoying and I feel really vexed about it. Zap that pregnant dog with lightning or breath it with dragon moves. Once it is finished, you done!

---Champion---

You start to climb loads of stairs and SAVE! You won't get a chance to save when you enter the champion room. Walk in and lo and Behold! It's Steven(Ruby/Sapphire) or Wallace(Emerald)! He's the champion. Since this is your final battle, give it your best shot and hold nothing back!

Steven's Pokemon

Skarmory lvl 57 Claydol lvl 55 Aggron lvl 56
Cradily lvl 56 Armaldo lvl 56 Metagross lvl 58

Steven starts off with Skarmory and it knows Aerial ace, Toxic, Spike and Steel Wing. I hate Toxic as it poisoning damage hurts more every turn. Take it out with lightning or parseion flames. Claydol is the troublemaker here. It will do Reflects and Light Screen. Then, it will do Ancient Power or Earthquake you to a rocky death. Ground cannot hurt it as it has the Levitate ability. Next,Aggron. it has a ridiculously high defense and could only be easily taken out with a major earthquake and karate moves. Next, Cradily. You need at least two Ice Beam to kill it has it has a 4x weakness and has a incredible defenses. Armaldo is strong but low defensive. Beat it with Aqua moves. Lastly, Metagross. Oh I hate to say it but it has a very high stats but low speed only. It knows all powerful moves like Psychic, Earthquake, Hyper Beam and Meteor mash, Metagross's trademark attack. It is steel/psychic and is only weak to ground types and fire type.

Wallace's Pokemon

Wailord lvl 57 Ludicolo lvl 56 Tentacruel lvl 55
Milotic lvl 58 Gyarados lvl 56 Whiscash lvl 56

Once you beat him, you are the Champion! Congratulations! May/Brendan rushed in with unnecessary info and after a little talking, you be watching the credits.

---Guide---

This is a guide on the other things you can do in the game that are not needed to beat it. Most of these things cannot be done until after beat it. However, some can be done as soon as you get to them. Here are the contents.

Contents:

1. The Regis
2. Latias
3. Rayquaza
4. Latios
5. Battle Tower
6. Mirage Island
7. Pokemon Contests
8. Lileep and Anorith
9. Trick House
10. New Mauville

---The Regis---

Every generation has a legendary trio. Generation 1, the RBY Generation, had the Legendary Bird Trio: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. They could be found at places throughout the game and were level 50. They were hard to catch. Then in Generation 2, the GSC Generation, there was the Legendary Beast/Dog Trio: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. They were caught the same way as Latios is in this game (see 2. Latios). Now we have the Legendary Regi Trio. The types are no longer, Fire, Water, and Electric, but Rock, Ice, and Steel. The trio is Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. Now this trio is very hard to obtain. They are located in three different spots around Hoenn, just like in Generation 1, but in order to unlock it, you must do something first. What, you ask? Well, first you must obtain a Relicanth and a Wailord (see their PokeDex entires to find out how to catch them). Also, teach the TM Dig, the HM Surf, and the HM Dive each to one of your Pokemon. Put Relicanth first in your party and Wailord sixth, and put the Pokemon that know Dig, Surf, and Dive in there as well. Go to Pacifidlog Town and surf west. When you get to a spot on Route 134 (right to the east of Slateport, but the currents stop you from going there from Slateport) where the currents and dive spots resemble a square, go into the dive spot and use Dive. There will be a lot of stuff in Braille that you can't understand. Try searching around until you find a place that will allow you to go back up, but this time into a Cave. Go to an inscription and use Dig. There may have been many though because at some point there is many inscriptions that spell the alphabet in order that will confuse you a lot. But a new area should be opened and find another inscription that will read in Braille "First Comes Relicanth, Last Comes Wailord". Since they are in your party in this formation, an earthquake will happen. The Regi's have been unlocked.

Go to the desert in Routes 111/112. What was formerly just a large stone now has a doorway in it, you just have to find it. Go into the place, called the Desert Ruins. Regirock is here at level 40., fight him and catch him. But I hope you have brought lots of Ultra Balls.

Remember to bring lots of Ultra Balls, like with Regirock. Some good ideas are putting it to sleep or poisoning it. False Swipe works wonders when trying to catch Pokemon as well. Go to Dewford and Surf onto Route 105 to find a very, VERY small island with an opening on it.Go into the opening and you will be in the Island Cave. Regice is right there, and like Regirock and Registeel, he is at level 40. Now catch him with the strategies I have given you.

Near Lilycove City on Route 120 you have seen a man before saying that he is looking for the legendary Ancient Tomb. Now that you have unlocked it, go into the Ancient Tomb that the guy was looking for (it isn't that hard to find) and meet Registeel at level 40. Catch it, use the strategies I gave for Regice, those are the ones I use.

---Latias---

After you beat the Elite Four, you can catch Latias. You are in your own room, after a tiring battle with the Elite Four and the Champion. Check the TV in your room, just in case it says something. You can then go down. There, you'll meet Mom and Dad. Dad will give you a ticket(you can use at the Shipyard in Lilycove or Slateport, to get to the Battle Tower.). The TV down there will say a bird has been seen flying high above Hoenn. It will say that it's red.

Now, you can catch Latias... You can meet it anywhere, but it will run away as soon as it is able to, even if it's asleep! To catch it, it is best to use Mean Look or Block. If you encounter it once and it gets away, don't worry! You will indubitably meet it again, only that now, you're able to track it, using your PokeDex.

---Rayquaza---

After you beat the Elite Four, you can catch the mighty Rayquaza.

First, get some Ultra Balls and Timer Balls. The road isn't easy and you wouldn't want to go there, but be unable to catch the legendary. It is lv. 70 when you find it, just in case you're curious. Second, get a Mach Bike. Mach, not Acro. You need it to get to Rayquaza. Now, you are prepared!

Go to Pacifidlog Town. Surf East, then North. You'll get to a cave. Go through it, then a Tower will be North of you. Go inside...

Before you go further, read and follow two rules:
-Don't get discouraged if you don't succed the first time.
-Save as often as possible. Sometimes, if you don't succed, turn off, then try again!

Now, each floor:
1st floor: no problem.
2nd floor: 2 steps right, climb bike then go dooooooooooooooooooooooown, untill you hit the wall. Then, go leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeft, untill you hit the wall. Go 1 step right. SAVE! The next part is quite hard...Do it extremely fast! 3-6 steps up, one step right and up untill you hit the wall. Climb next floor...
3rd floor:3 steps down, 2 left, 6 down, 3 right, 1 down, 8 right, 10 steps up, 1 left and one up...
4th floor. SAVE! 6-8 steps down. Hit the lower wall, while on normal ground, then 4 steps up. SAVE! The next part is probably the hardest one...With only 1 move, while on the Bike, you need 3 steps down, 13 steps left and 6-8 up... Congratulations! You are close to the mighty Rayquaza. SAVE! You should see 4 cracks in the floor. You must get to one of the two in the middle. Go right above the three rocks, up, right, suddenly stop when on a good crack...SAVE!
back to 3rd floor climb.
back to 4th floor: climb.
5th floor: 2 steps left, 3 down, one right, 3 down, 1 left, 4 down, 7 left, 1 down, 5 right, 6 up, 1 right, 5 up, 2 left, 1 up...
Roof: Walk a few steps West, then North, then you should find Rayquaza! Good luck catching it.

---Latios---

So you've caught Latias, but what about the other bird, Latias? You can catch it, too, but you need a Nintendo Event to get the Eon Ticket. Go to the Shipyard in Slateport or to the one in Lilycove and use the ticket to get to Southern Island. There, after you examine an Egg, Latios will attack you.

---Mirage Island

Mirage Island is a strange place, on Route 130. You can find wild Wynaut there and the Liechi Berry, you can't find anywhere else. The Liechi Berry raises Attack, if the holder is at less than 1/3 HP. If you go to Pacifidlog, you will find a man that hesitates if Mirage Island becomes visible or invisible depending on weather or if it's really appearing and disappearing. He's in the house down and then right of the Poke-Center. Remember this house,it's important!

Each day, a random number called the "Mirage Island number", is generated by the game. It can have up to five digits and it's impossible to predict. If this number matches a certain, hidden, number each of your Pokémon has, Mirage Island appears on Route 130. Remember that the "Mirage Island number" changes each day.

It seems extremely complicated, right? Fortunately, you don't need to look for it every day. Remember that house mentioned earlier? Inside it,the man near the window will tell you whether Mirage Island is there that day or not.

The conclusion is that, by visiting that man every day, he will eventually tell you that Mirage Island is visible and, then, you'll find it on Route 130. Sounds easier now, right?

---Lileep and Anorith---

Lileep evolves into Cradily and Anorith evolves into Armaldo. These Pokemon and their evolutions are extinct, so they are completely unobtainable. Well, except for one way, of course. In each game you can only obtain one of them. Go to the desert on Routes 111 and 112. Look around and you should find two fossils: the Root Fossil and the Claw Fossil. These are the fossils of Lileep and Anorith. However, you can only choose one, so choose wisely. Look at Anorith, Armaldo, Lileep, and Cradily's PokeDex entries to see which one's stats and moves you prefer. If you want Anorith, then take the Claw Fossil. If you want Lileep, take the Root Fossil. Now go to Rustboro City and into the Devon Corporation building. Talk to everyone in it and one man will say he will ressurrect fossils for you. Give him the Fossil and then leave for a while and come back and talk to him again. He will give it to you. You now own an extinct Pokemon!
